Nerdwells is built by a gamer who became a gymrat after taking a hard look at both myself and my setup. When I started upgrading my habits and gear together, the wins followed — in-game and in life.

From Lazy Gamer to Super Gamer
I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember — and I’ve played it all.
MMORPGs like WoW, Tibia, and MapleStory. FPS games like CS:GO and Apex Legends. MOBAs like DotA and League of Legends, where I probably blamed my team more than I should’ve.
At some point, though, I realized something wasn’t right.
I wasn’t moving. I wasn’t thinking clearly. I ate garbage, slept poorly, and sat in chairs that hated my spine. Gaming didn’t make me happy anymore — it just made me frustrated, sore, and tired.
Then I stumbled across an article that changed everything:
Cognitive performance improves with physical health.
So I started training. After just a couple of weeks at the gym, I felt better, played better, and thought more clearly. That experience triggered a full-on reset.
I looked around and asked myself:
If gaming is my biggest passion, why am I treating it like an afterthought?
If I were into fishing, I wouldn’t settle for a stick and a rusty hook as my gear. So why was I doing that with gaming?
I started upgrading everything — my mindset, my habits, my health, and my gear. That journey turned into a new obsession: optimization.
Why I started Nerdwells
Nerdwells is the result of that mindset shift.
I wanted to create a place for gamers who care about performance — not just in their stats, but in their setups and routines.
Whether you’re competitive, casual, or just tired of gaming while uncomfortable, you’ll find something here to help you play and feel better.
